Monadnock Resources LLC received $100 million in equity from Kayne Anderson Energy Funds and members of its management team, Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP said Aug. 17.
Newly formed, Dallas-based Monadnock acquires and develops oil and natural gas in North America, including the Permian Basin.
Matt Gentry, president and CEO, leads the management team, comprised of Adam Howard, vice president of engineering; David Williamson, vice president of geoscience; and Kelli Roach, vice president and general counsel. Prior to forming Monadnock, management members most recently held senior leadership positions at private companies.
