In McKenzie County, N.D., Stavanger-based Statoil has reported a Middle Bakken completion. The #5H Skarston 1-12 is in Section 1-152n-99w and is producing 5.01 Mbbl of 45.5-degree-gravity oil, 9.258 MMcf of gas and 2.139 Mbbl of water per day. The Banks Field well was tested on a 44/64-in. choke from a gross interval at 11,162-21,765 ft with a flowing tubing pressure of 2,250 psi. The 21,765-ft well has a true vertical depth of 10,924 ft.
