Description
A western Anadarko Basin horizontal Marmaton producer was completed by Tyler, Texas-based Mewbourne Oil Co. The #736 M001BP Morris is in Section 761, Block 43, H&TC Survey, A-252 in Ochiltree County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. It had a 24-hour flowrate of 178 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 254 Mcf of gas and 620 bbl of water. The venture was fracture stimulated at 7,898-12,674 ft and was tested on an open choke with 120 psi of flowing tubing pressure. The 12,720-ft prospect was drilled and bottomed in Section 736, A-1512 with a true vertical depth of 7,515 ft. The discovery is in an area of predominately Cleveland and Morrow gas production from vertical wells developed since the mid-1970s, and horizontal Cleveland wells drilled over the last 10 years.
