Jon McCarter joined Houlihan Lokey investment bank as a managing director, serving as national energy leader for transactionary advisory services (TAS) and assisting with leading financial advisory services (FAS). He will be based in the Houston office, the firm said July 18.
McCarter spent nearly a decade at Ernst & Young, where he was a partner in TAS, serving as Houston transaction support leader and Americas energy transaction advisory services leader.
He has advised leading corporate and private-equity clients in complex transactions across the energy supply chain, and began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1991.
McCarter is a certified public accountant in Texas and Ohio, and earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
