Artex Energy Group LLC is offering acreage in the Utica/Point Pleasant area of eastern Ohio through a sale being conducted by Meagher Energy Advisors.
The properties are primarily located in Noble, Guernsey, Washington and Tuscarawas counties, Ohio, and include a joint operating agreement (JOA) with Antero Resources Corp. (NYSE: AR).
Highlights:
- 14,885 net acres;
- 87% of leasehold HBP;
- 2,071 consolidated net acres under JOA with Antero in Noble and Washington counties;
- Four new wells proposed by Antero on leasehold under consideration;
- Continuous drilling clause on part of leasehold covered by Antero JOA; and
- 89% of leasehold holds 82.5% net revenue interest.
Bids are due March 2. The sale is expected to close March 31 with an effective date of Feb. 1.
