Kaiser-Francis Oil Co. is selling its Denver-Julesburg Basin leasehold position plus a nonoperating stake in more than 600 wells through a sealed-bid offering handled by EnergyNet.
The offer includes a leasehold position covering about 14,961 net acres and working interest in Codell and Niobrara permitted wells in the South Silo Field in Laramie County, Wyo., and Weld County, Colo.
Highlights:
- 14,961 net leasehold acres (delivering about 80% net revenue interest);
- 14,076 net term leasehold acres;
- 885 net HBP acres;
- 614 permitted wells;
- 287 Codell and 327 Niobrara;
- 610 permits in Laramie;
- Four permits in Weld;
- 355 horizontal wells;
- 543 permits in the previous 12 months; and
- 287 Codell and 327 Niobrara;
- Area operators include Anadarko E&P Onshore LLC, Barrett Bill Corp. (NYSE: BBG), EOG Resources Inc. (NYSE: EOG), Kaiser-Francis and Samson Exploration LLC.
