The board of directors at Stallion Oilfield Holdings Inc. appointed David C. Mannon as its president and CEO, the wellsite services company said June 1. He also joined the board of directors.

Mannon has more than 30 years’ experience in oilfield services.

Previously, Mannon was CEO and president of Parker Drilling Co. He also was CEO and president of Triton Engineering Services Co., a Noble Corp. (NBL) subsidiary. Mannon also worked for SEDCO-FOREX, now a part of Transocean.

“I am honored to join Stallion as president and CEO and I am excited to lead Stallion into its next chapter. While industry conditions are challenging today, Stallion is an excellent platform from which to build. I look forward to working with our customers, employees and investors in this exciting opportunity,” Mannon said.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Houston.

Mannon is a member of the IADC and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He also serves on the boards of privately-held oilfield rental tool company IronGate Energy Services LLC and power equipment provider Earl Energy Co.
