Jeff Ritenour became executive vice president and CFO, effective immediately, of Devon Energy Corp. (NYSE: DVN), the company said April 19. Devon also said that its incumbent CFO, Tom Mitchell, will leave to pursue other interests.
Most recently, Ritenour was senior vice president of corporate finance, investor relations and treasurer, a role he began in 2016. Ritenour has worked at Devon since 2001. He has been senior vice president of investor relations and vice president of A&D. Before joining Devon, Ritenour worked with Ernst & Young in Dallas.
He is a certified public accountant, and earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma.
Devon Energy Corp. is based in Oklahoma City.
