Todd Jaquez-Fissori, who has 10 years’ experience in energy technology financing, joined middle-market credit lender Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC and will lead its energy technology group, the company said April 28.
He will also serve as managing director of Tennenbaum as well as TCP Capital Corp., a business development company managed by Tennenbaum, the company added.
“I’m excited about joining Tennenbaum and leveraging their unique platform and market position,” said Jaquez-Fissori, adding “I look forward to building the energy technology group to enhance strategic financing opportunities for our portfolio companies and their investors.”
Most recently, he was senior managing director, as well as group head of energy technology, at Hercules Technology Growth Capital Inc. (NYSE: HTGC), the company said. He joined the Palo Alto, Calif., company in 2009, Tennenbaum added.
Prior to that, he was a director at Menlo Park, Calif.-based TriplePoint Capital, and at Siemens Venture Capital, he had been the general partner in cleantech investing, Tennenbaum added. He had also been a principal at Boulder Ventures in Colorado and an analyst at Mayfield Fund, also based in Menlo Park, the company noted.

Jaquez-Fissori holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, the company said.
