Investment firm IOG Capital LP closing its $330 million oil and gas investment partnership from affiliates of investment firm Fortress Investment Group LLC the company said May 13.
Funds and accounts in this new partnership will complement the similarly-sized partnership IOG established with Metalmark Capital in September 2014.
Dallas-based IOG provides domestic oil and natural gas companies with funding for onshore acquisitions and development drilling through joint ventures and nonoperated investments. It has more than $700 million in capital.
Marc Rowland, founder and senior managing director, leads IOG. Previously, he worked for Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK).
Fortress Investment Group LLC is based in New York.
