Description
A Haynesville Shale well in DeSoto Parish, La., has produced 27.9 MMcf of gas and 900 bbl of water per day. The Comstock Resources Inc. venture, #1-Alt Holmes 29-32, is in Section 29-13n-16w in Belle Bower Field. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 11,780-18,882 ft. The well was tested on a 30/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 6,910 psi. It bottomed to the southeast at 18,972 ft, 11,361 ft true vertical. Comstock's headquarters are in Frisco, Texas.
