Gregory S. Hinds, executive vice president of development planning and acquisition, voluntarily resigned from Jagged Peak Energy Inc. to pursue other opportunities, according to a March 14 press release.

Mark R. Petry will take on Hinds' business development responsibilities. Petry is executive vice president of land and acquisitions.

John G. Roesink will take on Hinds’ development planning responsibilities. Roesink is vice president of development planning and geoscience.

Jaggers will assist in the transition alongside Chris R. Bairrington, vice president of operations, and other operations team members, the company said.

Petry became executive vice president of land in November 2016, and served as the company's predecessor's vice president of land since inception, Jagged Peak said.

Prior to that, he was vice president of business development and land administration for Laramie Energy II LLC since September 2007. Prior to that, he was the Rocky Mountain land manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC); he held various positions at Western Gas Resources Inc. including vice president of land; and also had land and accounting positions at Ladd Petroleum Corp.

Petry, who is a certified professional landman, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming.

Roesink recently became Jagged Peak’s vice president of development planning and geoscience, having joined Jagged Peak’s predecessor in 2014 as the senior exploration geologist, the company said.

Prior to that, he was a geologic adviser at Bill Barrett Corp., developing the Uinta Basin’s East Bluebell assets and assisting Bill Barrett’s Niobrara development plan in the Denver-Julesburg (D-J) Basin.

From 2005 until 2011, Roesink was a geologist and team lead at Noble Energy Inc. (NYSE: NBL), developing its Green River, Piceance, western Williston, Wind River and D-J Basin assets. Prior to that, he was a research scientist at the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Roesink earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder, Jagged Peak said.

Bairrington became Jagged Peak's vice president of operations in November 2016, having previously been engineering manager of the company's predecessor, the press release said.

Prior to that, he was the senior operations engineer of Ute Energy. He also previously worked at Bill Barrett Corp and Anadarko, as a senior operations engineer and a production engineer, respectively.

Bairrington earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, the press release said.
