Teekay Corp. said Oct. 9 that David Glendinning will retire as president of the Teekay Gas Services division after more than 28 years at the company. His retirement will become effective Dec. 17.
Mark Kremin will replace him in the role. Kremin is currently vice president of Teekay Gas Services. He recently took over reporting line accountability for the gas operations team, the company added.
Peter Evensen, president and CEO of Teekay, said Glendinning spent more than 45 years in the industry overall. At Teekay, he was vice president- marine and commercial operations from 1995 until his promotion to senior vice president, customer relations and marine project development in 1999.
In 2003, Glendinning became president of Teekay Gas Services division. Prior to joining Teekay, he worked at sea on oil tankers for 18 years. Glendinning is a Master Mariner, the company added.
Kremin began working at the company as in-house counsel in 2000. He has 20 years’ experience in the shipping industry. He represents Teekay Gas on the boards of joint ventures with international partners. Prior to joining Teekay, Kremin was an attorney in an admiralty law firm in Manhattan. He attended law school in New York.
