Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Results from a Frio recompletion were reported by Refugio, Texas-based Hilcorp Energy Co. in Aransas County (RRC Dist. 4), Texas. According to IHS Markit, #92 St. Charles Co is flowing 5.424 MMcf of gas, 353 bbl of 51-degree-gravity condensate and six bbl of water per day from Lower Frio at 9,450-9,936 ft. The well is in the Aransas CSL Survey, A-5, in South Texas’ Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. Gauged on an 8/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 3,963 psi, and the shut-in tubing pressure was 4,815 psi. The well was drilled to 11,625 ft and plugged back to 10,220 ft. It was originally drilled and tested in 2014 flowing 14.8 MMcf of gas, 627 bbl of 51-degree-gravity condensate and 51 bbl of water per day. Production was from a fracture-stimulated zone at 10,640-10,738 ft.
