Description
Two Uinta Basin wildcats have been staked in Uintah County, Utah by Finley Resources Inc. The wildcats are targeting Green River and Wasatch oil zones. The #1-9A-5-2 Black Bear will be in Section 1 of partial township 5s-2e. It has a planned depth of 6,256 ft About one-half mile to the northwest, #1-6A-5-2 Black Bear will be in Section 1 of partial township 5s-2e and it has a planned depth of 6,314 ft. Nearby production is about two miles to the southeast in the Natural Buttes Field area – #1 River Junction Unit in Section 8-9s-20e is pumping 284 bbl of oil and 113 Mcf of gas per day from an acidized and fractured Green River interval at 4,337-46 ft.
