Description

In Converse County, Wyo., Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. has scheduled six horizontal wildcats targeting Cretaceous Turner sand in the Powder River Basin. The #748-2133H Dilts Flat, Section 21-39n-72w, will be drilled south-southwestward to 21,772 ft (11,465 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 33-39n-72w; #753-2133H Dilts Flat, Section 21-39n-72w, will be drilled southward to 21,498 ft (11,465 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 33-39n-72w; #700-1931H Dilts Flat, Section 19-39n-72w, will be drilled southward to 21,756 ft (11,479 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 31-39n-72w; #705-1931H Dilts Flat, Section 19-39n-72w, will be drilled south-southwestward 21,620 ft (11,479 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 31-39n-72w; #711-1918H Dilts Flat, Section 19-39n-72w, will be drilled north-northwestward to 21,441 ft (11,479 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 18-39n-72w and #706-1918H Dilts Flat, Section 19-39n-72w, will be drilled north-northeastward to 21,418 ft (11,479 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 18-39n-72w. They are 1-2 miles southwest of a horizontal Parkman discovery at #39-72-16-1PH Robbins Unit, which was completed in 2013 initially pumping 91 bbl of oil with 23 Mcf of gas and 861 bbl of water per day. It was tested in a horizontal Parkman interval at 8,663-11,842 ft. The 11,980-ft lateral was drilled north-northeastward and bottomed in the same section.
