Two extended-lateral, horizontal Eagle Ford Shale tests are planned by Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. in the company’s Eagleville Field prospect in Atascosa County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas. The #1H Lightning Unit is on a 640-acre lease in Section 961, Williams & Austin Survey, A-19. It will bottom about two miles to the southeast in Section 956, Williams & Austin Survey, A-22 and the proposed true vertical depth is 10,000 ft. Within one mile to the south will be #1H Thunder Unit in Section 963, Williams & Austin Survey, A-17. It will bottom within two miles to the east-southeast at a true vertical depth of 9,300 ft.
