Description

EOG Resources Inc. completed three Eagle Ford-Eagleville Field horizontal wells in Atascosa County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas. The #1H Lightning Unit flowed 1.211 Mbbl of 32-degree-gravity crude, 296 Mcf of gas and 1.865 Mbbl of water per day through fractured perforations at 8,316-17,414 ft. Tested on a 26/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,238 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 667 psi. The 17,554-ft well has a true vertical depth of 8,156 ft and bottomed to the south. The offsetting and parallel #1H Thunder Unit flowed 953 bbl of 32-degree-gravity crude, 336 Mcf of gas and 3.728 Mbbl of water per day from 8,237-17,643 ft. The bottomhole of the 17,726-ft well offsets the bottomhole of #1H Lightning and the true vertical depth is 8,145 ft. Both wells are on a 640-acre Southwest Texas lease in Section 961, S.F. Austin & S.W. Williams Survey, A-19. Within 1.5 miles to the south in Section 963, S.F. Austin & S.W. Williams Survey, A-17, #1H Sunshine Unit flowed 806 bbl of crude, 368 Mcf of gas and 3.673 Mbbl of water per day from 8,356-16,341 ft. It bottomed about 1.5 miles to the east in Section 957, S.F. Austin & S.W. Williams Survey, A-23. The 16,446-ft completion has a true vertical depth of 8,396 ft. EOG is based in Houston.
