Houston-based oilfield services company Enventure Global Technology LLC has appointed David Crowley as president and chief executive officer. With more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, he will lead the company from its headquarters in Houston.
Crowley joins Enventure from Precision Drilling Oilfield Services, following its acquisition of Grey Wolf Drilling, where he led the company's U.S. and international divisions. He succeeds retiring CEO Ray Ballantyne.
Crowley spent the first 20 years of his career with oilfield services heavyweight Schlumberger Ltd., where he held international assignments in key positions for operations, engineering and marketing. He then applied his international business expertise to U.S.-based companies seeking opportunities to grow their geographic footprint overseas.
Crowley is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Enventure provides solid expandable technology solutions for the energy industry, and has operations in North America, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, South America, Europe and the Far East.
