Enhanced Oil Resources Inc., which owns and operates the Milnesand and Chavaroo oil fields in New Mexico, said Aug. 12 that it will change its name to Hunter Oil Corp. to better reflect its business.
Its common shares will trade under the new name and the new TSX Venture Exchange ticker, “HOC,” effective at the opening of trading Aug. 16.
Previously, the board of directors approved the name change, and all requisite approvals were received, the company said. Shareholders do not need to take any action.
Recorded production from the Milnesand and Chavaroo oil fields is more than 37 million barrels, the company said.
