Canada’s Enerplus Corp. will sell properties in Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan for CA$67.3 million, including most of its shallow gas assets and the Brooks waterflood property, according to a March 9 press release.

Enerplus entered definitive agreements for the sale, which could realize a 60 cent-per barrel of oil equivalent reduction of overall opex, improving the margin and reducing the overall well count, the press release said.

The capital budget remains unchanged, while production was adjusted to reflect the nine-month impact of the divested volumes on annual average production, the press release said.
