San Antonio-based W&B Osborn Oil & Gas Operations Ltd. is preparing to drill a 4,000-ft exploratory test in Osceola County, Mich. The #1-35 Kennedy is targeting oil pays in Dundee Lime and is in Section 35-18n-8w. Nearby production is to the northwest at a 3,790-ft Dundee Lime oil well that was completed in 2015 by Schmude Oil Inc.: #1-35A Smith was tested pumping 4 bbl of crude and 21 bbl of water per day through perforations at 3,788-90 ft. First production from Osceola County’s Evart Field was reported in 1941. In August 2015, W&B Osborn received a permit for Dundee Lime test along the northern edge of the field at #1-18 State Osceola in Section 18-18n-8w. The planned depth is 4,100 ft. Also in the area is the company’s #1-7 Hammer in Section 7-18n-7w, which has a planned depth of 5,350 ft and is targeting Amherstburg.
