IHS Markit reported that a directional Miocene gas well has been completed by LLOX LLC on the southern flank of Manila Village Field in Jefferson Parish, La. The #1 State Lease 21649 is in Section 19s-24e and it initially flowed 1.287 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 13,138-78 ft. Tested on an 11/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,872 psi. The sidetrack was drilled to 15,774 ft, with a west-trending lateral that had a true vertical depth of 13,342 ft. The new Manila Village Field producer was drilled out of a dry hole abandoned in late 2016 – #1 State Lease 21653 reached 11,954 ft, 11,440 ft true vertical. LLOX is based in Covington, La.
