CVR Energy Inc. (CVI) announced that Angela J. Dasbach will become the companies' vice president of corporate affairs, effective immediately.
Dasbach has more than 16 years of experience in corporate public relations and business news journalism. She joined CVR Energy predecessor Coffeyville Resources in 2004 as director of corporate affairs and has been intimately involved with all aspects of the company's corporate public relations, communications, advertising and community relations programs since then.
Prior to joining CVR Energy, Dasbach was a senior communications specialist at Harley-Davidson Motor Co. from 2003-04. From 1996 to 2003, she worked various assignments as a business reporter and online journalist at the Kansas City Star, the Topeka Capital-Journal, the Business Journal of Kansas City and the Johnson County Business Times.
She holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from the University of Kansas.
