Description
Continental Resources Inc. reported preliminary test results from a new Stack play well that extends westward into the overpressured Meramec window. The #1-3H McBee is in Section 10-15n-12w of Blaine County, Okla. It initially flowed 2.11 Mbbl of oil equivalent per day (approximately 1.224 Mbbl of oil and 5.32 MMcf of gas per day). The Watonga South Field venture was drilled north to 16,816 ft and bottomed in Section 3-15n-12w with production from a fracture-stimulated Meramec zone. Additional completion information is not currently available.
