Clear Fork Royalty received the Tarrant Business Ethics Award from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the company said Sept. 10.
The award was given on Sept. 4 at the, at the annual State of the County luncheon, the company added.
“Receiving this honor validates how we conduct business,” said Joseph P. DeWoody, Clear Fork’s president.
“Even in the highly competitive energy royalty environment, we are proving a company achieves impressive results while conducting business in an honorable and ethical manner,” he added.
The award’s criteria include clear communication of the company’s ethical standards; transparent, honest and fair business practices; and a code of ethics or mission statement, the company said.
Fort Worth, Texas-based Clear Fork Royalty acquires domestic oil and natural gas mineral rights and royalties.
