Callon Petroleum Co. (NYSE: CPE) closed its private placement of $400 million of 6.125% senior unsecured notes due 2024, the company said Oct. 3.
The notes will mature on Oct. 1, 2024, unless redeemed prior to that date. The net proceeds of the offering totaled about $391 million, and they will repay second-lien term loan borrowings and support general corporate purposes including drilling.
