IHS Markit reported details on a horizontal Barnett Shale well that was completed in Clay County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas by Richardson, Texas-based Lone Star Land & Energy II. The #6H Hapgood Ranch was tested on gas lift flowing 249 bbl of crude, 155 Mcf of gas and 509 bbl of water per day through acidized and fracture-stimulated perforations at 6,888-11,569 ft. The Newark East Field well was drilled to 11,810 ft on a 6,532.95-acre Fort Worth Basin lease in Lot 96, Marion CSL Survey, A-308. The lateral bottomed about a mile to the southwest in Lot 104.
