Lakota Energy Ltd. has completed a horizontal Barnett Shale well in the Wise County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas, portion of Newark East Field. The #1H T.R. Jackson flowed 628 Mcf of gas per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 7,903-9,778 ft. It was tested on a 16/64-in. choke. The flowing tubing pressure was 504 psi, and the shut-in tubing pressure was 832 psi. The well was originally drilled in mid-2015 to 10,034 ft on an 89.1-acre Fort Worth Basin lease in William A. McClanahan Survey, A-553. The horizontal leg bottomed about one-half mile to the northeast at a true vertical depth of 7,668 ft. Lakota is based in Houston.
