State agencies in Utah and Wyoming are offering acreage in lease auctions, according to EnergyNet, which has been retained to handle the sales.

Sealed-bids for about 77,500 acres in Utah are currently being accepted. The sale consists of five types of mineral rights, including oil and gas.

Wyoming will also auction 30 parcels for lease with bids accepted Oct. 24.

Bidders can register and prequalify for bidding on EnergyNet’s website. Specific instructions and user guides are available for online government lease sales.

Utah

Utah’s School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) is offering 116 tracts covering 77,500.91 acres in a sealed-bid auction.

The acreage, which includes five mineral rights, is located in Box Elder, Carbon, Emery, Grand, Juab, Millard, Morgan, Rich, San Juan, Sanpete, Summit, Tooele, Uintah, Utah and Washington counties.

Sealed-bid offers are due by 6 p.m. CT Oct. 28.

Wyoming

The Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments has 30 parcels covering 12,424.45 net mineral acres available for lease.

The assets are located in Big Horn, Carbon, Fremont, Park, Sheridan, Sublette, Sweetwater and Uinta counties.

Bidding opens at 2 p.m. CT Oct. 24, and will begin closing at 2 p.m. CT Oct. 31.
