Technology driving costs down and recoverables up
Today’s technology is driving costs down and total recoverable resources up, according to panelists at the Developing Unconventional Gas conference in Fort Worth recently, presented by Oil and Gas Investor and E&P.
Panelists were Sidney Green, manager of geomechanics and business development for Schlumberger Ltd.; Larry Denver, chairman and chief executive of Ascend Geo LLC; Roy Hyden, strategic business manager, production enhancement, for Halliburton Co.; and Mikhael Ming, president of Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America.
