Canadian Oil Exports to U.S. to Continue to Grow
Daily oil production from the Canadian oil sands will rise approximately 2 million barrels by 2015, strengthening its position as the largest foreign supplier of oil to the U.S. Canadian ambassador Michael Wilson spoke at a recent World Affairs Council of Houston function on the Canadian-U.S. relationship on energy, conservation and the environment.
Wilson was a member of the Canadian House of Commons, minister of industry, science and technology, minister of international trade and minister of finance. He represented the country at IMF, OECD, GATT and G-7 meetings.
