Allied Energy Inc., Bowling Green, Ky., (Pink Sheets: AGGI) plans to drill an offset well to its Smith Peter Hickory No. 1 on its Hickory Hollow-Caney River lease in Rogers County, Kentucky.
Smith Peter Hickory No. 1 has produced more than 1,500 barrels of crude since February from a conventional reservoir, says Allied vice president of business development Steve Stengell. He adds that the offset well will target the same reservoir as Smith Peter Hickory No. 1.
The company has about 6,000 acres under lease, more than 60 wells under development and continues to build its own gas-line infrastructure system in Rogers County. JAS
