Petro Resources Corp., Houston, (Amex: PRC) reports the completion of the drilling phase of its first horizontal well at its East Flaxton Madison project in Renshaw County, North Dakota.

The well was drilled to a vertical depth of 5,780 feet and a 4,000-foot horizontal lateral that was drilled through the Nesson formation. A completion rig will be moved on location to commence swabbing and completion operations shortly with sales by mid-July.

This is the first enhanced-recovery well drilled in the East Flaxton Madison project, which is the second of the company's oil fields in North Dakota to become substantially fully repressurized by water injection, says Petro president Don Kirkendall.
