Antero Resources Corp. (NYSE: AR) priced a private placement offer of 5.125% senior unsecured notes at $600 million, the company said April 23.
The notes are due Dec. 2022 and the offer is scheduled to close May 6, Antero Resources said.
The company expects proceeds of about $591.6 million after certain deductions, and plans to use $277.5 million of that amount to finance its 7.25% senior note redemption, the company said.
The 7.25% notes are due 2019, Antero Resources added, noting that any remaining proceeds will repay part of the credit facility’s outstanding borrowings.
Denver-based Antero Resources Corp. develops and acquires unconventional oil and natural gas in the Appalachian Basin.
