American Energy -- Permian Basin LLC appointed Jeffrey L. Mobley as its CFO, the company said Aug. 1.
Most recently, Mobley was senior vice president for major acquisitions at American Energy Partners LP, of which American Energy--Permian Basin is an affiliate, the company said. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of investor relations and research at Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK), and also worked at Raymond James & Associates in equity research, the company added. He also worked in investment banking for Prudential Securities and Abn Amro, the company noted.
Mobley has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from New Mexico State University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, American Energy Permian said.
The company also hired Kayla D. Baird as its controller and John C. McClendon as its director of finance, American Energy Permian said.
American Energy Partners LP is based in Oklahoma City.
