Norstra Energy Inc. (OTCQB: NORX) has appointed Glen Landry as CEO and president of the company.

According to the release, Landry, a geologist, has 30 years of experience in the northwest Montana region. He previously consulted Occidental Petroleum in exploring and shooting seismic throughout northwestern Montana.

Under his leadership, the company has begun the process of evaluating lands in northwestern Montana with an aim toward acquiring a sizeable land position for exploration in the Bakken formation.
