William J. Dale, chief financial officer at Lucas Energy Inc. (NYSE: LEI), is leaving the company to pursue other interests, the company announced on Oct. 1.
Dale resigned as chief financial officer, treasurer and secretary of the company effective immediately, providing that Dale will continue to offer support, if needed, to Lucas for several months in connection with the transition of his duties and responsibilities. Anthony C. Schnur, Lucas's CEO and former chief financial officer, will immediately assume Dale's duties.
"Over the past nine months, Lucas Energy has built strong financial and operations teams, and the company is now positioned as a reserve development company. We are confident in our ability to pursue current initiatives and growth objectives without pause," Schnur said in the release.
Lucas Energy Inc. is an independent energy company with oil and gas operations in Texas. The company is based in Houston.
