Jacob Joins Independence Contract Drilling As VP, COO

Independence Contract Drilling (OTC: INCDZ) has appointed Ed Jacob III as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Both contract drilling and manufacturing operations will report directly to Jacob.
According to the release, Jacob most recently served as the president and CEO of Keen Energy, until its sale in late 2012. He also served at: Grey Wolf Inc. as senior vice president of operations; Bayard Drilling Technologies Inc. as executive vice president; and Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co. in various sales, marketing and operations management positions.
