Athabasca Oil Corp. (TO: ATH) has appointed Brent Heagy as chief financial officer.

According to the release, Heagy has more than 30 years of diversified financial experience in the energy business. He played a key role in the recent sale of a Calgary-based NGLs infrastructure and logistics company.

The company’s current chief financial officer, Rob Harding, will assume the role of vice president, corporate services. In his new role, Harding will be responsible for human resources, information technology and office services and facilities.
