Jura Energy Corp., Calgary, (TSX: JEC) has drilled the Kandra 4D exploration well to a total depth of 7,313 feet. The well targets three potential hydrocarbon-bearing zones: the Sui Main Limestone, the Lower Guru and the Chiltan Limestone.

During initial testing of the Chiltan Limestone, natural gas shows were found, but the zone was plugged after it produced water. Jura says it is considering a second Kandra well to target the Chiltan zone.
