Galloway’s Adams Feed #1 in W. Texas Reaches Total Depth

Published May 18, 2009

Galloway Energy Inc., Reno, Nev., (Pink Sheets: GWGI) says its Adams Feed #1 well in West Texas has reached total depth, with testing of potential gas-bearing zones to begin immediately.

The well is the first of a proposed development program targeting a minimum of 20 gas wells to be drilled across the acreage and is located in Crockett County. The Ozona region has more than 115 working wells in production, and Galloway says the program bears little risk, as the formational sands being tested are well-known and historically documented producers.

Galloway president and chief executive officer Shane Lowry says, “We look forward to the results of testing with an optimistic view towards a successful outcome, especially given the available geologic data and nearby preponderance of producing wells.”

Galloway has a first right of refusal to participate in the gas project, which is located on 12,900 acres in the Barnett Shale area of West Texas.
