Storm Cat Energy Corp., Denver, (Amex: SCU; Toronto: SME) reports the high-pressure pipeline connecting its Fayetteville acreage in Arkansas to the Ozark interstate pipeline is in service and fully operational.
The company made first sales from two of its three 2007 Fayetteville wells on April 12. Kamalmaz 1-13H is currently producing approximately 1.6 million cubic feet per day and the Vaughn 1-18H, still undergoing well cleanup, is producing between 400,000 to 700,000 cubic feet per day. Tie-in of the third well, the Files 1-12H, is expected shortly.
Following the recent acquisition in Sheridan County, Wyoming, Storm Cat now has approximately 50,000 net acres in the Powder River Basin and two years of drilling inventory.
