At the OTC 2014 topical breakfast session, “America’s Energy Renaissance,” BP’s chairman, president and CEO John Mingé told the story of how the oil giant’s intrepid spirit and team of explorers has persevered over the last 100 years since the time of its first explorer, George Reynolds. That spirit, he said, has helped it overcome several obstacles and challenges over the years as it has continued to grow its portfolio.
