Archer strengthened its Houston-based operations through the consolidation of area operational bases into its new 100,000 square foot facility on Cutten Road. The relocation into the facility has completed the integration.
In addition to the corporate headquarters at Remington Square on the W. Sam Houston Parkway, this new facility brings together the Houston-based operations of Archer’s survey and inspection, directional drilling, wireline and oiltools divisions for the first time.
The expansive property includes office, warehouse, lab and workshop facilities and currently houses 118 employees, with space available for an additional 100 employees.
“Relocating and consolidating our Houston-based operations is significant for us as we continue to integrate under the Archer brand. We want to create and provide a more streamlined structure for our products and services, and we now have an impressive facility that gives us the ability to accomplish this," Ronney Coleman, president of North America and executive vice president, said in the release.
“Archer’s investment in this new facility demonstrates our continued commitment to strengthening our ability to provide the highest quality products and services and be responsive to our customers’ needs, not just in North America land markets, but globally as well,” Coleman said.
“The new facility gives us the vital space that is needed to accelerate response times, strengthen our oiltools position and grow our unconventional completion assets.”
The 100,000 square foot facility provides vital lab space, central equipment repair and maintenance, on-site engineering, research and development, and testing facilities.
