Western Gas Partners LP (NYSE: WES)  has announced that it has agreed to acquire a 33.75% interest in both the Liberty and Rome gas gathering systems from Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC) for total consideration of US $490 million.

The privately-held company also announced that it has agreed to acquire a 33.75% interest in the Larry’s Creek, Seely and Warrensville gas gathering systems from an affiliate of Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) for total consideration of US $133.5 million.
